A: Yes.
Q: Currently I am a member of Kutumba. If I register the profile in the next few days and do not renew my Kutumba membership in May, will the relative’s profile still be active for a year and can the relatives have access to it?
A: Member must be active (current) at the time of registration, and the matrimonial service fee paid will cover for the one-year subscription for the matrimonial service. Therefore, the profile stays active for the one-year term irrespective of the membership expiring after the registration.
Q: Additionally, are there volunteers in the Kutumba (within or outside the matrimonial department) who share profiles of prospective brides and grooms in their circle and help with matchmaking?
A: Kutumba Matrimonial service volunteers do not provide additional matching services. They only facilitate the publication and controlled release of the profile information upon request from the users of the Kutumba matrimonial services. If there are volunteers outside this group to provide matching services is a general question to the Kutumba members in Telegram group which is outside of the purview the Kutumba’ s official matrimonial services.
Q: Can I register my relative who is a mixed race?
A: Yes, as long as the bride/groom has ancestral connections to Vipra community of formal South Canara/Udupi/Kundapura (coastal Karnataka) and bride/groom is intending to find a partner in that community.
